Greg is a founder and principal of BlueX Energy Corp. He was previously the President of Rockies LNG and Pacific Northwest LNG. Prior to that, he was Vice President, Marketing, Corporate, and Investor Relations at Progress Energy.

Jim Stannard

Jim is a founder and principal of BlueX Energy Corp. He was previously a senior executive with PETRONAS in Australia and Malaysia. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Development at Progress Energy, responsible for engineering, project management and subsurface operations.

John Chambers
John is a career investment banker with over 25 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets. From 2006 to 2018, John served as the President and then CEO of FirstEnergy Capital Corp., Canada’s largest energy-focused investment bank at the time. During John’s tenure at FirstEnergy, the firm completed over 1,000 financings and executed over $100 billion in M&A transactions. From 2009 to 2017, John was on the board of directors of the Investment Industry Association of Canada (IIAC), where in 2016-2017 he was of Chair of the Board. In 2016, John was awarded the McGill University Desautels Faculty of Management - Management Achievement Award. In 2019, Mr. Chambers completed the Directors Education Program and received the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. John currently sits on the Boards of Altura Energy and Sun God Resources.
Michael Culbert
Mike currently sits on the Boards of TC Energy and Precision Drilling. Mike served as President and CEO of Progress Energy from 2004 to 2016. During this period, the company grew into one of Canada’s largest unconventional natural gas producers and was sold to PETRONAS in 2012. Since 2013, Mike has served in leadership roles at both Progress Energy and Pacific NorthWest LNG, advancing Canada’s natural gas exports to Asia in the form of liquefied natural gas. He is a founding member of Creative Destruction Labs Energy Stream at the University of Calgary and was recognized as the 2019 Distinguished Business Leader from the University of Calgary Haskayne School of Business and the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.
Kipp Horton
Kipp is President & CEO of WindRiver Power Corporation. Kipp has been instrumental throughout the majority of his 25 year career in fostering partnerships among industry, governments and Indigenous communities to develop, finance, build and operate clean energy projects in Western Canada. He has led multiple private entrepreneurial companies to create value for all stakeholders involved. Kipp has partnered with large Alberta-based energy companies such as Nexen Inc. and TC Energy to facilitate their entries into clean energy opportunities such as wind power and pumped hydro energy storage projects. He has directly participated in raising over $200 million of energy infrastructure capital by way of private equity, project finance and corporate debt facilities. Kipp’s current focus is on building the “first-to-market” pumped hydro energy storage project in Alberta, the 75 MW Canyon Creek project in central Alberta.
